Coach Burns has served as the Freshman Boys Basketball Coach for the last 6 seasons. Prior to being named Freshman Boys Basketball Coach, Burns served as the boys under 14 and under 16 head coach for the Limerick Celtics Basketball Club in Limerick, Ireland.
Burns was a four-year high school basketball player at Xaverian. He played his junior and senior seasons on the varsity basketball team under legendary coach, Jack Alesi. He played collegiately at LIU Post, serving as a three-year team captain. He played for Limerick Celtics National League Team for one season following his collegiate career.
