- On Monday, July 29th check-in will begin at 8:30 in the lobby of the 71st St. entrance.  Please enter the building through the 71st St. security entrance which is closer to Shore Road.  This is the entrance further down from the parking lot. (Please note:  We do not provide early drop-off service.  Campers are not permitted in the building before 8:30 AM, as our staff has not yet arrived by then.  As your child's safety is of utmost importance to us, we cannot allow the kids in the gymnasium unsupervised. We look forward to your cooperation on this matter.).  

-You are required to bring a paper copy of your child’s medical form. Make sure to bring a paper copy on the first day of camp for your child. You may use the medical your child’s school accepts, or our version here Medical Form; all are acceptable. No child will be allowed to participate without a medical form. 

-If you did not register your child for the lunch program, but would like to do so, you can register on the first day of camp, we accept cash or check. Each day we have a variety of lunch options that will rotate each day. Our entree choices are similar to: chicken fingers & fries, pasta, cheeseburgers, hotdog & fries, fried rice & dumplings; drink choices: water, juice; snack choices: popcorn, chips, fruit. The cost for the week is $45. Please make checks payable to XAVERIAN HS. All of the kids get free pizza on Friday.

-Campers are required to wear athletic clothing and sneakers throughout the week. 

-Parents are asked to arrive between 1:45 PM and 2:00 PM to pick up campers. They will be dismissed promptly at 2:00 PM.  As other high school activities take place in our gymnasium throughout the summer, it is imperative that the children are picked up on time, as no staff has been allotted to supervise the children after 2:00 PM.  Please allow for traffic and other pickups. Please make sure your child knows who is picking them up each day. If it is not a parent please communicate that with us that morning via email. Your child’s safety is our number one priority. If you are allowing your child to self dismiss please respond to your sign-up confirmation email with that information.

-Campers that are traveling on our bus from the Rockaways will be picked up in front of St. Francis de Sales Church at 129-16 Rockaway Beach Blvd. in Belle Harbor between 8:00-8:15 AM. The bus to the Rockaways will depart from Xaverian at 2:00 PM. If you did not sign up for the Rockaway bus at the time of sign-up please do not show up expecting to take the bus, as there will not be room for add-ons. We will have a Counselor at pick-up and drop off with a Camp List of those signed up for the Rockaway Bus.
