Join the Fishing Club!
The Fishing Club is open to all students, including those in Genesis. The club hosts biweekly meetings but spends most of its time out on the water! Destinations for fishing include the 69th Street Pier, Floyd Bennett Field, Rockaway Beach, as well as boat trips on nearby charters in Sheepshead Bay and Howard Beach. When we’re not on the water, club members are in the classroom learning skills such as knot tying and fishing techniques, choosing tackle, watching and taking part in filleting demonstrations, and of course, sharing fishing stories!
