Phillip Rollock '80

Phillip T. Rollock is a former Chief Legal Officer at TIAA, the leading not-for-profit retirement market provider. Phil retired from TIAA after more than 30 years of service with the organization, having served in a variety of legal and business roles. 

A graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School, Phil began his legal career at the global law firm of White & Case in New York before joining TIAA. Phil currently serves as a member of the American Law Institute, the leading independent organization in the U.S., producing scholarly work to clarify, modernize, and otherwise improve law. He also serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Council, a non-profit that seeks to develop and increase the number of successful Black executives domestically and internationally. 

Phil is a proud member of the Class of 1980, for which he was the Salutatorian; he is a past recipient of Xaverian's Distinguished Alumni Award; and he is the founder of the Howard and Barbara Rollock Scholarship, in loving memory of his parents, which provides tuition support to Black students attending Xaverian. 

Phil and his wife Paulette, reside in Manhattan.
