2022-2023 Season Recap
The Varsity Cheer Team kicked off their year this summer by hosting their first ever Cheer with the Champions Cheer camp for kids – and they haven't stopped since! The girls have cheered for our Varsity Football Team, three Varsity Basketball teams, and were even able to cheer on the Senior Boys' Soccer Team at their Senior Night (and hope to be back again next year!). They have performed three halftimes for their Clipper fans alongside their own competition routines. While prepping for their seasons, the Varsity Cheerleaders participated in multiple Charity Events, including our very own Chris Hoban Memorial Run and Clip the Clippers for Childhood Cancer. The team has raised thousands of dollars for local and widespread charities this year through their monthly bake sales, including the American Cancer Society's Making Strides for Breast Cancer, where they were once again recognized as a Top Team by the foundation. The Varsity Cheerleaders participated in three Regional Competitions and one State Championship within a brand new Game Day Division, simulating traditional Football Cheer teams. The team ended their season with an additional award recognizing the Varsity Cheerleaders for the Sportsmanship presented to them at States by the CHSAA league, voted upon by their competitors.
